Working day after day, relaxation does not start until weekends. But hey, Hong Kong people don’t relax at all. They went crazy shopping (yea I used to be one of them), intensive entertainment i.e. kareoke, squeezing into over-crowded restaurants for 45 minutes. Damn, if the rest of my life is going to be exactly the same as this, I’ll try every method (literally EVERY) to escape from this crazyland.

So yesterday, Angelica and I went to Stanley. Still over-crowded with tourists and foriegners, yet the nice weather and cookies made it well worthy.

Honestly what more you can ask from Hong Kong. Stanley is probably the only place reminds me that how much fun can we have: great food, great people, great view. Please don’t this little paradise away from me.

Yes, finally graduated after all these tough years struggling to make a place in this Aussie land. Not exactly proud of  the grades but hey, who is going to care about grading once we step into the real world! What more can I ask for with the blessings from family and friends on the special day of mine (and of course the other graduating arts students). Although questions came after this wondrous day,  e.g. job opportunity; the relationship between Michael and I, things seem to be okay on 21st July 2010.

I could never stand here taking graduation photos without the support of my precious family.

It has been quite a stir of emotions for me these days, with friends leaving one after another. Twenty days after, it would be my turn to leave this La La Land for good, tasting the first earning-my-good-damn-money experience.

*All the best to my friends who had graduated. Hope you can find your destined job and fist every opportunity you’ve gotten.*

Thanks for being with me all these years. Ups and downs. We have been through a lot and yet we’re still here hands in hands together. You’re my plus one and the only one.

The first intension of buying one is due to the Melbourne trip tomorrow (WOHOO!). I doubt one could survive without a decent pair of furry boots in Melbourne as heard it’s freezing like Iceland. Under my dear flatmate’s influence, I got this chocolate coloured stinger mini emu boots. I had tried on a non-mini one and one with a button on a side (which I like very much). However, both do not feel right on my feet. The length of those boots made my legs look too short and not in a right proportion. So til the end I got the mini version! The fur feels so soft and warm, wear it to shopping and it never tires your feet. It could very much replace my shopping flats which are recently a bit torn out.

Have not yet worn them out but have given some thoughts on how to match & mix in spite of the ordinary ways. Going to wait for the Melbourne trip and hope these would keep my feet warm on Mt Buller!

While I’m struggling which piece to bring, another issue came up. Fashion in Shanghai is nothing like in Brisbane. Girls might not be as carefree about the length of skirt or how much breast you’re showing as in Brisbane. And nonetheless, it’s a family trip. So I have to choose really carefully with the right length of skirts and right depth of shirts. Luckily, someone invented leggings, which is perfectly tight enough to show legs and a good alternative underneath for over-sized tees or mini skirts. Well, if I got to choose, I’ll go with showing legs with no means.

love the length – not too short but short enough to show amazing legs. Especially like the white-white combination. Very summer-like.

Just imagine it: after 24+ hours, I’ll be embracing the sunshine in the Southern Hemisphere. Oh, it reminds me to bring my bikinis along! Too bad Shanghai doesn’t have pretty beaches like Surfer Paradise.

Amongst all, I drool the most for the giuseppe zanotti heels. The buckles made the shoes look super sophisticated! And the height of the heels is perfect, not too high to knock oneself down but high enough to show off the legs. Honestly, afterall I’m only a fans looking at beautiful shoes on paper, not a fans wearing super high heels in real life. Call me a baby, but every time when I’m out with one of m favourite pair of super high heels, I wish  could go home immediately, took them off from aching my feet. So I guess I’m those kinds of people who can only envy or  be jealous of others wearing beautiful heels and put on the most comfortable shoes for myself instead. How pathetic!

Saw the new Spring 2010 Karen Walker eyewear line in David Jones days before. Though cat-eye specs aren’t new to the market, leopards print together with cat-eye specs are new to me.

The leopard print cat-eye specs (on the left) are something like Ray Ban’s wayfarer and Alexander Wang’s eyewear. It’s more wearable comparing to the other specs on this line and more, leopard prints is my friend since, hmm months!

It seems quite weird to me whenever I blog it’s assignment time. Maybe blogging can relieve myself from the stress and tension? Hmmm have never thought in this way before… interesting.

1. Leave school!

Pro: School sucks. So I have to start doing my independent studies as to make sure I can graduate by the end of this semester. Smart choice.

Con: Yet the reality hits me. The faster I leave the Aussie land, the sooner I’m going to leave my boyfriend and may or may not starting our faithless long-distance relationship. Hmm not wanting to see this happen.

2. Stay behind!

Pro: Screw up the grades and stay for 1 more semester. Though my boyfriend will be moving to Sydney (most probably) it won’t be a long-distance relationship huh.

Con: My family will be very disappointed since they bought the air ticket already (I know..) and I’ll miss my chance to convince my mom for keeping a puppy at our lovely place.

Well.. I’m confusing myself now.

Recently I’m obsessed with shopping at eBay for vintage clothing. Despite the face that I lost in my very first eBay bid, skimming through all the collect they’ve got is a truly blissful moment comparing with my dull, dull assignment routine. Since it’s my first to browse and shop at eBay for vintage clothing, as most of them are used, I have to choose very precisely which piece to bid. Coming across with several vintage stores, I found myself mostly drawn to lace, girly, nautical, leopard prints, very 80s sort of clothes. These are some items I’m ‘watching’ (the term used in eBay in case you don’t know like me).

The above dress is very structured with the big lace collar and beautiful detailed buttons. This is very 80s with a sense of the complexity of maid costume and military. Very irrelevant but blend well together. The romper on the below is an oversize piece which you can wear daily pairing up with different accessories: rough it up with flat short boots (like in the picture), a belt to make it more structured or a pair of hot heels to make it glamorous. The gems on the collar and sleeves add the colour to this romper.

These might not be the ones I’ll place my bid but these are definitely some treasuries I came across this new-found paradise. The only problem left is, give me confidence to beat them hard when I actually eye on something!

My assignments are waiting for me in line and I can’t resist them (O no!). Just want to say helllllllllo to my new blog, and I started to love it more with my new header created last night while I’m supposed to be working my ass off for my desk report.

Before I go off, just want to illustrate my new blog with something I’m obsessed with these days. This is inspired by fashiontoast and her glamorous collection of jewelry. Vintage is the best!
